Interview with the winner
Born in 1977 in Qasreshirin, Iran, I currently reside in Vienna, Austria. My interests include music, sports, graphic design, wildlife photography, AI art, animation, and acting. I value creativity, innovation, and pushing boundaries in art. My aspiration is to explore the fusion of technology and art, using AI to create unique visuals and leave a lasting impact on the creative world.
How would you define your style?
Passionate about photography and AI, I blend creativity, surrealism, and storytelling in my visually stunning images. My goal is to evoke emotions, spark imagination, and convey timeless beauty in my reconstruction of classic artworks using AI. Without a specific teacher, my learning process has been personal and internet-based, allowing me to express myself creatively and inspire others through my work.
Tell us about your winning creation.
Using the remarkable AI program, Midjourney, I creatively transformed Van Gogh’s “Self Portrait with Grey Felt Hat” into a unique photographic piece through subtle color changes. This innovative approach combines painting and photography, inviting the audience into Van Gogh’s enduring legend with a visually captivating result. Winning in competitions depends on factors like originality, technical skills, impact, and aesthetic appeal, and I believe my artwork conveyed a powerful and thought-provoking message.
